Abstract
Abstract: The social educational approaches in the curriculums of the isla-mic education of the middle ( intermediate) stage. The purpose of the study : The research aims to reveal the reality of the social educational approaches in the curriculum of islamic education of the middle school level by evaluating it according to an analysis form to un-derstand the positive points and strenghten them and to figure out the negative points and to try to have a solution to them. The study outcomes: - Most of the social eduactional approaches mentioned in the bo-oks of islamic education of the middle level do not contain isla-mic provision and community guidance which is the most impor-tant characteristic of the concept. So, those who are concerned with the curriculums have to pay attention to the social educatio-nal concepts in order to get the desired benefit of studying the concepts . - The intermediate level books of the islamic education contained repeated social educational approaches, such as ( patience, genero-sity, tolerance , selatu alrahm ( family ties or kinship: to take care of your relatives and maintain good ties with them ) most of these approaches did not reach an excellent grade because of the lack of the communuity guidance or islamic provision . - The social educational concepts were 15 concepts in the seventh grade ( 2 = medium , 10 = acceptable, 3 = weak ) whereas in the eighth grade there were 16 concepts ( 7 = medium , 4 = acceptable , 4 = weak , 1 = excellent ) and in the nineth grade ( 9= medium , 3 = acceptable ,4 = weak , 3 =excellent ).
