Özet
Felsefe tarihinin belki de en önemli eseri olan Metafizik toplamda on dört kitaptan oluşmaktadır. Bu kitapların bir kısmı metafizik biliminin problemlerini ele alırken, bir kısmı ise bu problemlerin çözümünü vermektedir. Lambda Kitabını bu eserin en önemli kitabı kılan şey, onun varlığın temel tözünü yani ‘Hareketsiz İlk Hareket Ettirici’yi anlatmasıdır. Bu nedenle Lambda Kitabı, eskiden beri değerli görülüp üzerinde çokça çalışma yapılmış bir kitaptır. Hem Grekçe hem de Arapça şerhleri yapılmış olan bu kitabın Arapça çevirileri İslâm dünyasında fazla rağbet görmüştür. Biz de, Arapça Metafizik çevirilerini, özellikle Lambda Kitabının çevirisini ele almayı düşündük. Okuyacağınız çeviri, Lambda Kitabının dokuzuncu bölümünün Themistios tarafından yapılan şerhinden ibarettir. Lambda şerhinin Yunanca aslı kaybolmuş, elimizdeki Arapça çevirisinden daha sonra Latince ve İbraniceye aktarılmıştır. Bu bölümde Themistios, Aristoteles’in, Tanrısal aklın mahiyetine ilişkin güçlükleri tartıştığı ve akıl, düşünme edimi ve düşünmenin nesnesinin aynı şeyler olduğunu kanıtlamaya çalıştığı kısmı yorumlar.

Abstract
Metaphysics which is the probably most important work in the history of philosophy composes of fourteen books. While some of these books deal with the problems of metaphysics, some finds the solution of these problems. What makes the Book Lambda most important book of this work is to mention the fundamental substance of being or ‘Unmoved Prime Mover’. Therefore, the Book Lambda is that which has been treasured and studied on it much more. Arabic translations of this book made both Greek and Arabic commentaries have found much favor in Islamic world. We thought to handle Arabic Metaphysics translations, especially of the Book Lambda. The translation that you will read is the commentary of ninth section of the Book Lambda by Themistius. Original Greek text of Paraphrase is lost, and it has been translated into Latin and and Hebrew from extant Arabic translation. In this section, Themistius comments that Aristotle argues certain difficulties concerning the essence of divine intellect, and he tries to prove that intellect, act of thought and object of thought are the same.
