Bu Makalede Erzurum’un Adının Nereden Geldiği, Ziyaret Eden Seyyahlar Ve Bu Coğrafiyacıların Şehir Hakkindaki Görüşleri İle Birlikte Erzrum’un Müslümanlar Tarafından Fethi Ve Fetih Esnasindaki Rivayetleri Anlatılacaktır. Ayrıca Fıkıh, Tefsir, Ve Astronomi İle İlgilenen Alimlerden Bahsedilecektir.

Abstract
In this research, we shall talk about the history of the city of Arzurum in Anatolia and those who have visited it from amongst travelers and geographers and how they described it and the reason for calling it Erzurum and it is considered one of the most important cities and it had an important history and it was an indentation from the indentations of Muslims and we will talk about the history of the Islamic conquest and the narrations of the conquest of this city and we shall also talk about the scholars attributed/associated to Erzurum, scholars of jurisprudence, interpretation and astronomy, which was of great importance to them.
