Özet
Emanet kelimesi, İslâm literatüründe gramer, ıstılah (terim), ilmî, örfî veya sosyal açıdan kullanım sahası ve muhtevası geniş olan bir kavramdır. Bunun bir sebebi bu kavramla ilgili Kur’an-ı Kerim’deki ayetlerin veya Hz. Peygamber’in (s.a.v.) hadislerinin, müfessirlere, muhaddislere ya da diğer İslam alimlerine göre muhtemel manalara hamledilmesi şeklinde söylenebilir. Böyle geniş manalara hamledilebilen bir kelimenin tahlil edilmesi ve yorumlanması çok geniş bir araştırma konusu olabilir. Burada emanetin daraltılması veya derinliği değil, yalnız farklı isnatlarla ve yorumlarla günümüze kadar gelen bazı nakiller gözden geçirilecektir. Bu bağlamda emanet kavramıyla ilgili zikredilen rivayetlerdeki benzerlikler ve farklılıklar da değerlendirilecektir. Ahzâb suresinde zikredilen ayette de belirtildiği gibi emanet insana teklif edilmiştir. Zira emanetin yükünü kaldırabilecek akıl, şuur ve idrak sahibi bir varlık olduğu için Allah, insanı seçmiştir. İşte insanı mevcudat içinde seçkin ve üstün kılan gerçek, insanoğlunun taşıdığı İlâhî emanettir. Bu makalede görünüşe göre çok yönlü ve muğlak bir lafız olan emanet kavramının mahiyeti ayrıca hangi anlamlara işaret ettiği konusu özetlenecektir. Ayet ve hadisler ışığında emanet üzerindeki benzer ve farklı yorumlar, görüşler tahlil edilerek ele alınacaktır.

Abstract
In Islamic literature, the word trust has a wide scope and content in terms of grammar, terms, and scientific, customary, or social use. One explanation for this could be that commentators, hadith scholars, and other Islamic scholars attribute potential meanings to the verses in the Quran or hadiths of the Prophet (PBUH) relating to the concept of trust. The analysis and interpretation of a term with such diverse connotations might be a very extensive subject for scientific research. In this study, rather than restricting or deepening the meaning of the concept of trust, only some of the narrations that have been passed down to the present day with varied attributions and interpretations will be analyzed. Besides, the similarities and differences in the relevant narrations will also be assessed. According to a verse presented in Surah Ahzab, Allah has offered “trust” to man, who was chosen because of his knowledge, consciousness, and ability to bear the burden of trust. As a result, it is this divine trust that distinguishes man and elevates him above the rest of creation. The present study discusses the nature of the concept of trust, which appears to be a diverse and ambiguous word, along with the meanings it represents. Furthermore, similar and differing readings and viewpoints on trust will also be analyzed and explored in light of verses and hadiths.
