Özet

Abstract
Muslims in the Umayyad and Abbasid times were greatly influenced by philosophical thought, and new ideas appeared that shook people’s beliefs. The people were divided between those who rejected those ideas and accepted the heresy behind them and those who agreed and combined those ideas and beliefs, as they adhered to those ideas and tried to reconcile those opinions with the Sharia. They were called the Mu'tazilites, attributed to Wasil ibn Ata', who retired from the council of Hasan al-Basri. This group was weak until it became ascetic in its thought, the caliphs of the Abbasids, as they supported it openly and publicly. This group had poets who embraced the Mu'tazila doctrine, and they defended this doctrine in all fields with their poetry, literature, and logic. The research monitored This group through their poetry and poets, and how these poets harnessed their poetry to defend their doctrine, ideas, and scholars, so they showed everyone their prowess in all fields, whether mental, intellectual, legal, or literary. They truly had an imprint on the intellectual life of the Islamic world, and they fiercely defended many beliefs. Islam in their thought, at a time when philosophical beliefs attacked the fields of Sharia law from all directions, so that group stood in the face of those intellectual currents with some agreement and support, and at the same time it caused a rift in some controversial issues. Between defense and deviation, they presented to Islam an Islamic philosophy that supports religion and truth, and this produced Thought The best scholars and writers had a significant advantage in all fields.
